Carlton Buford

Carlton Buford is a trained facilitator who works with Tree of Life in Jamaica Plain, an organization that provides family support, public health support, and services for older adults. Carlton is currently developing and facilitating support groups for fathers and families impacted by incarceration that he hopes will foster intergenerational community care practices. He also supports folks in Jamaica Plain with resume writing, locating employment opportunities, job skills training, and coordinating community outreach events. He sees this work as part of his broader vision to reimagine his community and connect community members with the resources and opportunities that they need to thrive.
